Du and Short Swim Gone - Sprint Tri ADDED!

In 2010 we put on 3 events at Towne Lake. First there was the Olympic distance tri, then the 300m short swim tri, and lastly was the Duathlon. This year we're eliminating the 300 meter short swim and the duathlon. In an effort to grow the race we will continue to offer the Olympic and now also have added a sprint distance race. The sprint will be roughly half the distances (except for the 500m swim) of the oly.

Houston Tri named TX3 Championship

The Houston Triathlon will have a $3,000 amateur purse (invitational wave only) and be the TX3 Series Championship at Towne Lake this year. We have a list of the improvements (based on your feedback) that you'd like to see and we're going to make it happen.
